Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. When she was just nine years old, her ability to communicate in two languages led to her obtaining an employment in Miami as a production assistant for Univision. In this role, she had the opportunity to be a part of national show producers, such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In St. Petersburg, she was later employed to the CBS station to work as a sports journalist. She moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Later, she was the anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. In the following years, she was given larger responsibilities. She was a reporter for all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She was anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She served in the same role for the network's magazine show Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents were originally of Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1985, in Mexico City. She is more mature than her younger sister. The family moved to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. Her parents divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. In June of the year 2006, Antonietta took one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. Antonietta is a senior in high school, yet she had a clear idea of the path she wanted to pursue. When she was deciding whether Mount Union was right for her, Antonietta visited the school. The result was that she liked the campus as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. Following her graduation from high school, she decided to enroll at the university to pursue a degree in media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a student in her class, developed an ongoing relationship with the student. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to have self-confidence and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
