Paul Wesley is a multi-award winner as an actor, producer and director. The most well-known of his roles is portraying the character Paul in The Vampire Diaries. In recognition of his performance in The Vampire Diaries the actor received numerous awards as well as nominations. Wesley was raised on the streets of New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school days, he displayed an interest for acting. He then enrolled in Rutgers University. He dropped out after realizing the extent to which the potential he had as an actor. He first appeared on an episode of the American TV show Another World. He played the role of a lead character on Wolf Lake, a CBS television show a year after. When he was cast in the role of Stefan Salvatore for the American television series The Vampire Diaries, his career changed. He directed several episodes in the series in addition. He has been featured in numerous movies that have been a hit since the debut of his series, The Last Run. In recent times, he was on Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as well as the roles of a supporting actor. The actor is also very well-known on social media with more than 13 million fans on Instagram and 4.1 million on Twitter.
